I researched every kennel in a four state area surrounding N.C. for several months to find the best and most reputable breeder of Dachshunds before purchasing a puppy. When I found the Dachsue Kennel I immediately began a correspondence with Fred Rentfrow, the owner. I knew I had found the right breeder when Mr. Rentfrow offered to help me find a puppy of my choice even if it wasn't one of his. My husband and I decided to drive from N.C. to the Dachsue kennel in Virginia to purchase our new puppy. We were greeted by Fred and Sue Rentfrow and taken on a tour of the facility. We saw all the dogs and found them to be healthy, happy, and in a clean, sanitary environment. We bought our puppy and have been more than thrilled with her. She has had no health problems and is a beautiful, happy little girl. The only problem I had with the Dachsue kennel was leaving with just one dog.

This is Mack, our most recent addition from Dachsue Kennel. He is a cream wirehaired is such a little sweetie. He is very healthy and happy and our little Molly just loves her new baby brother. We are thankful for our precious darlings and thankful to Fred and Sue for helping bring them into our lives.
