When my husband, Gil, and I needed to fill the paw prints of a long-haired miniature dachshund named Molly, and it was no small undertaking. She was part of our family for nearly 12 years. We searched many kennels in many states before being lucky enough to find Fred and Sue and their wonderful dachshunds. The love and care they provide for their puppies makes the transition to a new home adventurous for them and the owner. Our first puppy Widget and now our second, Buttons, (pictured above) reveals a happy and healthy pup who has filled our hearts and home to the brim. Buttons is so smart and perky and she keeps us on our toes. We also love the contact that we have with Fred and Sue, as they are always eager to hear about each puppies progress. After all, when a dachshund captures your heart, it truly never leaves. Fred and Sue are proof of that by raising these unqiue animals for nearly five decades. We will never own another dachshund that isn't a Dachsue dachshund. We just won't settle for less. Jo Ann & Gil Holbrook |
