I searched three years before selecting Twain. Fred and Sue gave me
instructions on how to find their kennel, nestled in a quiet valley
in Virginia. The long drive was worth the chance to see the kennel,
the other dachshunds, the parents of my pup, and to hold the pup I had
selected. Twain is a true miniature and probably will weigh about ten
pounds or less. Twain came into a family of all cats and is holding
his own. He has graduated from pup class to beginning obedience. He
is very smart, specially when he knows he is getting treats for doing
so good. He has been a wonderful addition to my family as a first time
dog owner.

Hi Everyone -l
Spring is here and Twain will be 1 in April. He has grown into a wonderful
companion and member of the family, even if he is only accepted by one
of three cats, and tolerated by the other two.

Thought you would like an update on Rooster ROO
Cogburn. He has been accepted by the BOYS (Twain
and Whiz), but the KIDS
(Jaz, Bree, and AR-Too) is still to be determined.
